about

Jean-Luc Thomas and David "Hopi" Hopkins have formed a long-standing duo: they can’t say themselves when they first met or started playing together. In any case, that was long before the recording of "Translations".
On this album, the flautist and the percussionist embody the duality between the energies of air and earth by dialoguing with their instruments.
Travelers and lovers of popular music, Jean-Luc Thomas and David Hopkins play with the Celtic tradition to make us relive their travels around the world.
Thanks to the sound of their instruments, they move borders. Where they go: we follow them.
